Mulch Options
Hardwood mulch is the most common type of mulch we install for customers. This is a double ground material that is non-toxic, plant and animal safe, and consists entirely of hardwood products made locally in MN.
It features a balanced mix of finer particles and medium-sized chunks, providing a uniform appearance that will elevate the visual appeal of your landscaping areas.
-Natural hardwood mulch is the most affordable.
-Dark brown hardwood mulch is the most popular.
-Other colored hardwood mulches offer a unique aesthetic for your property, but have a slightly higher cost.

Other Mulch Products
-Western red cedar and cypress mulch have a significantly higher material cost than locally made hardwood mulch, as they are brought in from out of state. Cedar is a popular option that we install regularly, while cypress is much more costly and rarely selected.
-Pine bark mulch is favored by some homeowners for its distinctive textured look.
-Hardwood chips offer a clean, natural look for landscaping and are commonly used in playgrounds for a safe surface.
-We do not offer rubber mulch.
